Safety & Well-being
Guidelines and resources for healthy play and community safety.
Last updated: September 2025
Healthy Play
- Take frequent breaks (5–10 minutes per hour) and adjust ergonomics to reduce strain.
- Use accessibility features (subtitles, color filters, sensitivity settings) where available.
- Hydration and safe audio levels matter—avoid prolonged exposure above 85 dB.
Online Safety
- Do not share passwords, 2FA codes, addresses, financial info, or private IDs.
- Enable two-factor authentication on game, platform, and email accounts.
- Beware of unsolicited files/links. Official staff will never ask for passwords.
Harassment & Harm
- Zero tolerance for credible threats, stalking, sexual harassment, or hate conduct.
- Report abusive players via in-game tools (if present) and to platform moderators.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, then notify support@arcfoundation.net.
Minors
- Features requiring legal consent may be unavailable to minors or require guardian consent.
- Any sexualized content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported.
Cheating & Security
- Cheating undermines safety and fairness. Do not install unknown binaries or scripts.
- Report suspected cheats/exploits privately with reproducible steps if possible.
Event & Test Participation
- Closed tests may require NDAs and specific safety protocols (e.g., streaming restrictions).
- We may remove players who create unsafe environments for others.
Resources
- If you struggle with mental health, seek local professional support resources.
- Platform safety centers: Discord Safety, Steam Support, and console/OS parental controls.
